The best advice I can give to a young musician is to be true to your heart and play only what you feel honest about. Never compromise your choice of notes for the sake of what is currently popular. Listen to your heart and play from there. It will never lie to you... Great music does not have a direct correlation with monetary compensation. If you want to make money, choose another career. But if you want to be true to your heart and make beautiful music, then listen only to your heart and never to your head. It is only from there that truth can flow through you.
