Original Music

Do you feel like downloading some my music for free? Well, I think you should! Go for it! Below is a list of several pieces of music that I've written and recorded either by myself or with others. They are all free (as in beer) and I encourage you to share them. They are ALSO available for purchase on iTunes and my Online store.

WHAT?

That's right. They're available for free AND some of them are also available for purchase. If you feel like you want to pay for them, then do. If you don't, then don't. This system is sort of a 'put my money where my mouth is' sort of thing. Since I've been talking about how everything should be 'free' - here is me proving I mean it. ENJOY!

iReal b - an Awesome App for the iPhone

My latest kick is to write tunes using my iPhone. I use an app called iReal b. It let's me 'hear' how the song will sound (sort of) before I record the parts.

BliR - Music done with my brothers...

My brothers Robert and Bennett (mainly) and sometimes my other brothers Kevin and Marty make the trek down to Electric LarryLand over Labor Day weekend for what we have been calling the 'Labor of Love'. We write and record songs - anything we want really. But mainly we have a total blast and even sometimes broadcast a live video of us working in the studio.

Fun Originals - All kinds of styles

When I get inspired, I sometimes write original songs just for the fun of it. Rarely do I release them for sale. Usually, I just give them away. And these are a few of the things that I've done and you might enjoy. Grab 'em and share!

FABU - a group long since gone but their music lives on

In 1992 I worked with a group here in Austin named 'Fabu'. They did original songs and we recorded an album together. They have long since broken up. But the music we produced together was incredible. This is too good not to be heard.

Whirled - a jam band from the mid-1980's

In the mid-1980's, I played with a jam band here in Austin. We rehearsed MUCH more than we played. In fact, we only had ONE gig! And this is a recording of that gig at the Continental Club. It features the members of the band - Tom Holden on drums, Chuck Ditto on keyboards, Jon Blondell on Bass, and myself on guitar.

CS-102 Radio Station Jingles

One of the fun things I did while working at Austin Recording Studio was to record some radio station jingles that were used in Colorado Springs for a radio station there. Most of these are under 5 seconds long - but you get the idea. They're just radio station identification jingles.

Misc other recordings

Here is sort of a 'catch all' of stuff. The 'Angel's Guide US' record is a complete recorded by Ed Hoffman, Bill Milo, and Myself. The I'll Stay song is my niece Taylor Seyer writing, singing, and playing one of her tunes. And the last tune was a song that was written 'on the fly' at a Regina Dawn Akers workshop in Wimberley.

Music for sale on iTunes

OK, so if you've gotten THIS far down on the list and you're STILL listening, then you might be interested in some of my music I have for sale on iTunes. If you do, then great! If not, then go look at the pretty pictures. (smile)
