Future Instrument Expansions
Percussion, Shakers & Hands for Larry Seyer Drums
Larry Seyer Drums Version 1.0 is a complete four-player drum instrument with all of the Larry Seyer Acoustic Drum Library drums. Future optional expansions will introduce three additional instrument types — Percussion, Shakers, and Hands — each with its own sounds and patterns. These expansions will be sold separately when available and are not included in Full Unlock.
Projected availability: currently planned for Summer 2027. That is a projection, not a hard ship date — it may move as recording continues.
Nothing is for sale on this page yet. Instrument Expansions are different from DrumKit Packs, which add more drum kits to Larry Seyer Drums’ existing drum players.
What Ships with Larry Seyer Drums Version 1.0
Version 1.0 is the complete drum instrument. When Larry Seyer Drums launches, you get the full Larry Seyer Acoustic Drum Library — every kit I have finished for drums — playable on as many as all four players at once. All four players are drum players: up to four drummers, each with its own kit and part.
Instrument expansions for Percussion, Shakers and Hands are planned as optional, separate purchases once recording is done. Projected availability is currently Summer 2027 — planned, not locked in.
Planned Instrument Expansions
These expansions add new instrument types to Larry Seyer Drums. They are not part of Full Unlock, and they are different from DrumKit Packs.
- Percussion — percussion sounds and patterns
- Shakers — shaker sounds and patterns
- Hands — hand-percussion sounds and patterns (claps and snaps)
I will post progress here as recording continues, and announce availability and pricing on this page when an expansion is ready.
Recording Status
I will keep this section current as the work moves. When the upgrade is ready, availability will be announced here, and pricing will be posted then. Pricing has not been decided yet.
