OTTO Percs, Shakers & Hands
A later upgrade for OTTO
OTTO Version 1.0 ships with all of the Larry Seyer Acoustic Drum Library drums. Percs, Shakers and Hands are a separate add-on upgrade that will be available after those recordings are finished.
Projected availability: currently planned for Summer 2027. That is a projection, not a hard ship date — it may move as recording continues.
If you landed here from Percs, Shakers or Hands inside OTTO, this is the place to watch recording progress and availability. Nothing is for sale on this page yet.
What Ships with OTTO Version 1.0
Version 1.0 is the drums. When OTTO launches, you get the full Larry Seyer Acoustic Drum Library — every kit I have finished for the drums role — playable on as many as all four players at once. Any player can be set to Drums, so you can run up to four drummers, each with its own kit and part.
Percs, Shakers and Hands are not included in Version 1.0. They are a separate upgrade that follows once recording is done. Projected availability is currently Summer 2027 — planned, not locked in.
The Percs, Shakers & Hands Upgrade
OTTO’s four players each carry a role: Drums, Percs, Shakers or Hands. Version 1.0 fills the Drums role. This upgrade fills the other three with real recordings and patterns of their own — percussion, shakers and hands — playable on any of the four players once it is released.
- Percs — percussion sounds and patterns for the Percs role
- Shakers — shaker sounds and patterns for the Shakers role
- Hands — hand-percussion sounds and patterns for the Hands role
Until the upgrade is ready, those roles use temporary stand-in sounds inside OTTO so you can still arrange and audition the full four-player layout.
Recording Status
I will keep this section current as the work moves. When the upgrade is ready, availability will be announced here, and pricing will be posted then. Pricing has not been decided yet.
